I do the best I can for the colony. On average each year, with cats slipping through the cracks and other random ones that have shown up, I do at least 8 TNRs. So that’s an extra $200 a year out of my pocket, not counting the care for the kitties after the fact I usually handle out of pocket. Great.

So this year my municipality changed how it handles vouchers for TNR and they now only cover $75 of the total $100 cost… Literally the only municipality in the area to do that. All of them offer $100 or MORE if you need to do more than one.

Sounds like they want a feral cat problem to me! 🤪
