I'm on team glasses - I live in (perhaps irrational) fear that I'll lose a contact on the ice. But I've yet to be in a game where that actually happened to someone, so I could just be nuts!
We talked about this at the club a few weeks ago, and possible answers include: discomfort with cold contacts, fear of having them pop out on the ice, habit. Interestingly at our club, skips tend to wear contacts and sweepers prefer glasses. Exertion-related choice?
Back in 2020 I was too ornery to take up sourdough bread with everyone else ("sheep! lemmings! Yeast is still good enough for me!"), but my aunt randomly gave me some starter last week and I finally made a loaf, and ... y'all, I've learned my lesson: you should never let ornery win over delicious.
Fungus and lichen on a stick

Cleared for sports again and can't wait to get back on the ice! ๐ฅ I'm taking bets as to whether I'll remember to take off my gripper for the first slide out...
Three baboons grooming each other...debugging each other.
I am feeling undue pressure to make this first post profound, but I've drawn a blank so I am going the other way and posting a photo I used in a code debugging talk from 2018, simply because it still makes me laugh. You're welcome.
