Don't really care for the dark knight movies as they're barely Batman.
How many of those lives wouldn't have had to have been saved if his actions didn't create the person causing the event?
The villains he fights are largely created because of his actions, as such the amount of damage he's done to Gotham that wouldn't have happened otherwise is astronomical not to mention the lives lost and ruined.
Batman is his own worst villain. He has proven that time and again.
He also caused more harm than he helped as Batman. Batman was really just a trauma response and an ego stroke.
