I've done "no-added-sugar month" a few times. For me, the first time, the withdrawal syndrome was similar to giving up smoking: three weeks of cravings, eating non-stop, angry mood, etc. Now I eat sweets, but way, way less, and only selected ones. May the force be with you! It pays off!

When I first started making comics, many many years ago; I was very snobby about the “quality” and technical skill level of the art and the writing. And I can say now, after doing it all this time that that was because I hadn’t done it and knew nothing. Just make stuff. Making things is good.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
