Linda and Bob from Bob’s Burgers entering a house. Linda says “sorry we’re late, Sarah! Bob had diarrhea! But happy birthday!”
I have let my drawing slip! But I did draw this for my wife’s birthday :)

I have let my drawing slip! But I did draw this for my wife’s birthday :)
An illustration of a green caulk gun loaded with a tube of caulk. The tube’s label says “RDC” in large letters. The label also has a simple illustration of a dog and a call out starburst that says “Franny approved”
For some reason this one was really fun to draw.
A pencil sketch of Mario wearing a propeller helmet.
One of my favorite power ups
Not that anyone cares, but I just switched this account from daily to weekly. I do draw daily, but I'm now taking on more elaborate drawings and it felt weird just posting WIP things.
WIP trying to draw one of my favorite characters
The E-Reader puzzle pack card for Entomology. It shows a color pencil illustration of a honey bee, on top of an orange geometric background.
Bees are really furry!
One thing I'm going to try to do with some photo editing magic is make the wings truly translucent.
haha, oh no :)
you mean the lack of? Look, the 2600 taught us games only need one button. More just complicates things.
Mostly happy with this one. But I dunno, it's missing something. I'm sure I'll revisit it.
An illustration of a portable game system that has a lot of similarities to the original game boy. The illustration is a bit “soft” and cartoony.
Trying some things for the 90s puzzle pack.
A color drawing/painting of our dog Franny. She is facing the camera with a big smile.
I made this for my wife for our anniversary.
A rough draft of an E-Reader card illustration. It shows two bees on top of a yellow and orange geometric background. To the right it says "puzzle pack entomology" and down in the corner is the Pixel Pup logo
I'm considering maintaining the geometric language throughout the first release. It makes it more cohesive, and, well, I don't have to try and come up with another design :)
This is just a rough draft, the bees would be a detailed drawing similar to the dog in the main card.
Bugs are going to be a different challenge
An E-Reader card for the game Pixel Pup. It shows an illustration of Franny the dog on the left side, the logo for the game on the right, and a geometric background. On the left there is a call out that says "how to play retrodotcards.com/pixel-pup"
I already posted this on my main account but here's my required drawing for the day :)
This one has some minor fixes and is pretty close to what I think will be the final version.
Onto drawing lots of bugs next!
A pencil sketch of Franny with her small, blind eyes instead of full ones.
Actually the real Franny was blind. Something that was too hard to convey in pixel art. But for this I think I’ll do her right
A sketch of the main PixelPup e-reader card. It’s almost entirely just simple pencil lines but with a more detailed ink drawing of Franny the dog smiling. She is wearing a collar that has an “RDC” pendant on it.
I think I’m narrowing in on what the main PixelPup card will look like. Creating a non pixel Franny has been challenging but I think I’m closing in on her look.
Not too happy with this one. But hey, that’s why I’m doing this.
Three sketches of Franny the dog. The left is her head with a collar on. The collar has a medallion that says "RDC" on it (retro dot cards). The upper right is a line ink drawing of her entire body, and the lower right is a drawing of her holding up a sign that says "pixel pup".
Drawing for October 4th, my first one!
I will try to post a new drawing every day. I am using this account to motivate me to practice and get better.
