The purple haired person asks the skeleton man who he is and what he wants from them, and gets laughed at in turn, before the skeleton man cryptically leans into their space and says he is carrying a boon and a trial for them. this startles them and they leap back, turning into a large five headed serpent, hissing at the skeleton man.
