The installatin is easy and straightforward.The OS is by no means geared towards a particular group of users. It can easily be used by anyone whether they're a teenager, middle aged, elderly, techie or not techie.

As a longtime GrapheneOS user, I can confirm that the Proton AG apps and Signal work completely fine without Sandboxed Google Play and that they are all available to download from other sources (i.e. GitHub).

In all honesty, in terms of unwittingly mapping the entire world, I did see this coming especially once it was realized just how popular the mobile game was going to be.
