I think Jet's group is a little different because the whole show shows rebellion against oppressors that isn't framed as immoral. So it's not inherently saying "rebellion is wrong".
That being said though, it does kinda ride the line by giving The Freedom Fighters the most stereotypically...
The Equalists from Legend of Korra
I'm much more concerned with whether or not the person in the stall next to me is a Doctor Who fan. I refuse to piss next to someone who isn't.
@gork.it is this true?
Ideally, teaching dems that their fascist-lite bullshit won't cut it will result in them offering better options than just 10 people not dying.
I would argue that cisplaining the harm Dems pose to trans people is far more annoying and trollish than anything I'm doing.
Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker wearing the symbiote suit with a black button down shirt. He is shown from the shoulders up, eyes very wide open for some reason. Caption: Gonna cry?
You misrepresenting what both you and I said makes you disingenuous.
So you admit Dems are useless and help perpetuate an evil system.
Also my point was specifically about the horrors unique to trans people like v-coding, forced detransition, and being put in the wrong facilities, so again you're being disingenuous.
...allowing states to incarcerate and torture trans folks...and you just go back to "Well Republicans are worse." You are so disingenuous.
*I'm* not understanding the argument being made?
Someone used an analogy of the Dems letting the wolves eat us. You said that's not the choice and that Dems don't have a platform of putting us in death camps. So I gave you a specific example of Dems letting the wolves eat us by...
Have you at all looked into how trans people are treated in prison, especially in red states?
Do you think that will become worse as states work towards criminalizing being trans?
Do you think Newsom has any plans to stop that from happening?
*what he
I'd let Rotta the Hutt do what wants with me.
Your solution is harvesting dataπ
So we're wrong about our experiences. Guess I should've foreseen that option.
I think advocating for "solving" the problems all at once in a way that feeds the surveillance state is small-minded and lazy. I think there are known problems (like radicalizing algorithms) we could address directly.
And yet the lived experience of queer people who found community through social media seems to suggest it can have good and bad aspects.
So...are you saying we're lying about our experiences or that our experiences just don't matter?
So...for the record you are currently getting a more nuanced argument than "social media is good", the thing you were originally complaining about, and your response is just "Nuh uh, it's bad!"
Has anyone else tried estrogen? It's quite good.
Absolute Batman betrays the premise imo by still giving him a bunch of expensive toys.
I prefer all the other Absolute series. Green Lantern is really cool too. It makes the whole spectrum feel more weird and alien.
My favorite thing about glasses is they hide how shit I am at eye makeup.
Prediction:
After getting criticized and proven wrong he'll say some variation of "No one should listen to me. I'm an idiot," before continuing to make the show people listen to.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I fucking despise the YouTube ads made to look like TikTok videos.
Disingenuous attack? I think you have this confused with all the op-eds you run about trans people.
Okay. They *have* to bring the Discovery into it now, right?
I love new Sam
All these damn cis people I live with keep saying stuff to me while I'm trying to watch Star Trek.
Have gender crits started blaming trans people for this yet?
He is a little all over the place here. But there's no way to know if that's the stroke or the conservatism.
