They didn't have a *Greggs*? Is that even legal???
They didn't have a *Greggs*? Is that even legal???
This is the best and most succinct analysis I've yet seen π
I was pissed off about concomitant. You want "ratatat"? No problem. "Ammo"? Well, it's an abbreviation, but what the hell? How about a nice simple word like "tarn"? No way, sod off! Sigh.
Cheers. That's useful to know π
These look fantastic. Any idea how they compare, sizewise, to Pendraken?
Some Thirty Years War action, involving an unconscionable number of 6mm figures, and using Twilight of the Divine Right rules.
Small Prophets is staggeringly good. Watch it immediately. This has been a public service announcement.
I've never tried that set, but I just looked it up, and may give it a go. I quite like Mortem et Gloriam and am getting into Midgard, but I do like Impetus' subtle combat mechanism, where the more battered you are, the more easily battered you become.
I feel Impetus doesn't get enough love. Definitely my go to set for Ancients.
Interesting. I've been using it on Brave for over a year without any issues. Are you signed into your YouTube account? There are a few things that can persuade YouTube you're a bot, like having it open in multiple tabs. It might just be the session length.
I've ended up using Brave as the default browser on all my devices. These indy browsers are great. Better for privacy, too.
Don't use the YouTube app. Watch it via an indy browser like Brave or DuckDuckGo. All the pop-up ads get automatically blocked and life becomes more pleasant.
Incredibly useful resource. Thank you.
Present!
Looks like Fulford Gate to me
I call on my party and my government to remove themselves entirely from X and communicate with the public where they actually participate online and can be protected from such illegality.
Yes it is π. I've always fancied a Wurttemberg army, but fortunately I'm a 6mm man so at least it's not bankruptcy-level expensive.
Plus this one, if you're feeling expansive. 1809 Danube Campaign I'd peak Napoleonic wargaming IMHO, and Gill's books are the nonpareil of English sources.
This Christmas Eve, remember Ukraine.
Darkness, empty chairs, voices gone forever β
this is not fate.
So many beautiful lives were taken,
not by time,
but by Russiaβs war.
No, always be third, so you never have to speak to anyone one-on-one (shudder)
I am very alive to Python references, no matter how subtle π
1, 2, 3. A, B, C, It's Eric the Half-Recceπ

I remember Hordes of the Things. Radox the Green and the Sword in the Shop Window stick in the mind
Just finished watching the remastered Beatles Anthology. The Beatles make me so happy, I could cry.
Ukraine doesn't owe gratitude to anyone. On the contrary, it is the Free World that owes infinite gratitude to Ukraine. And not just gratitude, of course, but our ceaseless support.
Borodino
A large Napoleonic wargame in progress using 6mm figures.
Favourite period (Napoleonics) + favourite rules (GdA2) + favourite scale (6mm) = hobby happiness
Bautzen?
