My MIL relies on social security to live after FIL passed. She worked her entire life (for the Fed govt) to not be stressed about if she can afford groceries or bills each month.
Apparently, all fed employees had their email signatures wiped out and had to submit new ones for approval this week.
After the OPM email earlier today, there is a renewed fire under Fed employees to resist that BS. The next couple weeks should be interesting. There are a ton of protections for Fed employees, and the whole 7 month severance to quit vs. being fired is not going over well.

My old cat (now passed) had a heating pad bed for cooler months. Vet said it's all good as long as the bad didn't get too hot, and then recommended something similar to that one! He loved it.
