Thanks Bun. A lot of these are things I hear weekly during my therapy sessions. To the "be careful with those who only reach out to you when you feel down" I'd add be wary of those who only reach out to you when they feel down, most likely they'll treat you like trash when they're at their highest.

You don't need to prove anything for anyone but yourself. ʚ Most people can only treat you as well as they treat themselves, so be with people who has a similar wavelength to you and don't wait around for other people to change just because you hope they will. ʚ Be careful around people that only reach out when you feel down, some of them will only be there to treat your lows as their own entertainment. ʚ Set standards and boundaries and remember that the only validation that you need in this life and the next is your own.
