I worked on a show with Nigel 20 years ago in SF (a bonkers and super cool staging of the Tom Waits / Robert Wilson / William Burroughs musical The Black Rider with Marianne Faithful!) and he was so much fun and crazy talented. Always love seeing him pop up - he’s carved out a lovely career!
I love that this song made its way into an otherwise somewhat subdued opening ceremonies. Beyond its fascinating take on language sounds, the style and choreography will always be uber cool.

Also, this film is a freakin’ marvel in 1000 ways. Its blending of mediums is seamless - we take so much for granted today. Imagine being 9 and seeing this on a screen in 1964. I would have believed it it all actually happened.
