Fuel Rider in this case is essentially the ability to look back on the previous year to see if you under or over bought fuel for energy production. It can apply to oil/natural gas/nuclear. But that is correct that it allows you to increase rates to make up what you had to buy the previous year.
I'm curious, here in NC we had legislation pass that allows Duke Energy to stack fuel riders for multiple years to bills to make up fuel costs. Is this crisis something that could cause large fuel rider adjustments for a few years to come due to drastic fuel cost increases?

Honestly I was stunned. All I could do is tilt my head like the RCA dog. They left and headed off down the road and I was blown away by the implications of them basically saying "Make sure your wife is home so we can badger her into new windows and not deal with you."
Last week two guys knocked on our front door trying to sell replacement windows. I listened to their pitch but the kicker was the guy said "We can meet whenever works for you, but make sure your wife is there too. It's fine if you can't be here to meet, but make sure your wife is here."

Took part in my first canvass today. It was my first as a volunteer and also as a candidate so I got to knock doors, talk about myself and the fantastic NC House District 63 Candidate Whitney Olive. I knocked on 70 doors, had some great chats, and also met two friendly cats. #southey4senate #ncpol

Attended the ribbon cutting for the Village Grill today in Burlington. My first job was washing dishes in a kitchen and local businesses that support the community and provide jobs and great experience are invaluable.

Attended an event tonight with guest Chuck Fager. Chuck was a member of the SCLC and worked alongside MLK Jr.
He told the story of how he wound up sharing a jail cell in Selma Alabama with Dr. King and left everyone inspired to continue searching for the justice that Dr. King advocated for.

All three NC House members who helped the GOP override our governor's veto got the absolute brakes beat off them.
I also hope it spurs leaders and elected officials to work towards long term planning for improvements, funding, and capacity building to ensure this isn’t a cycle. People want to live in Alamance County and making sure all of our schools are funded and supported is the #1 priority.
I appreciate the detail in the plans and know that it will also be hard for families. Moving schools is a big change and I hope that students and families continue to receive the support, transparency, and feedback they have been given so far.
