Hoppers Two beavers sit in the back seat of a car. One has a tinfoil crown on its head and the other is texting on a cell phone. 3.5 stars A fun time at the theater. Fast paced and endearing. At its best when it is more grounded.

I went to see HOPPERS! The kids didn't want to go with me. It was fun! I think that it was a little bit too tonally inconsistent to be one of my favorite Pixar films, but it was still fun and sweet.

I watched IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE which I loved. Heartfelt and earnest, while also telling a slow cinema sci-fi epic story. It's a film for intelligent audiences and it's punishing for people who are double screening on their phones.

I watched THE BLUFF and it was a ton of fun! I wonder if it started out as an Assassin's Creed Black Flag spec script, because it has that feel very strongly. Fun action. Some really great shots. The dialogue is occasionally good but mostly just fine.

How to Make a Killing Glen Powell is in a blue and white striped sweater with a cream colored hat. He is wearing sunglasses and looking over his shoulder suspiciously. 2.5 Stars A satire that never digs deep and ultimately feels defanged. Pretty disappointing.

I watched HOW TO MAKE A KILLING which ended up disappointing me a lot. Everything feels underwritten and undercooked. The characters have no depth. The performances are fine but not amazing. Unfortunate.
