This showed up in my Facebook memories for today. Just two years... so many changes now that the ballot line is gone. Do county endorsements even matter that much anymore?(And yet, there's Union County, still keeping on with their totally opaque process.)

Rep Tom Kean Jr #NJ07 says Democrats must "put politics aside" and fund DHS so workers at TSA, FEMA, Coast Guard can get paid.

Of course he means Dems must put *human rights and the Constitution* aside and pass GOP bill - with no restrictions on ICE/CBP violence and prison camps!

Instead, his administration just eliminated over 14,000 vacant medical positions.

More than 1,500 doctor and 4,900 nursing positions are gone.

And it's creating a crisis for our vets.

Tom Kean Jr and other republican politicians are actively raising energy costs for NJ homeowners. Last week he voted to cut up to $14,000 in energy rebates. There’s no grey zone here- this man doesn’t fight to lower costs for #nj07 and I’m ready to replace him in Congress

Last week, the House failed to pass the ROTOR Act by a single vote.

The final tally was 264-133. The bill needed 265 votes under suspension rules.

But @KeanForCongress sided with Republican leadership instead of the families of the 67 people who would still be alive if these standards were law.

I guess this person hasn't been to some exciting town council meetings... People who think these are boring meetings don't look closely at the agenda packet beforehand.

I understand but disagree with this attitude—local government is boring because of a lack of political imagination, not because local government is inherently a do-nothing sinecure

Contrast with #NJ07 Rep Tom Kean Jr, who has no objection to ICE turning a Roxbury warehouse into an immigrant prison.

Kean's "solution" is to propose a bill to have the feds pick up added costs for "host communities."

Roxbury and surrounding towns DO NOT WANT to "host" a detention camp!

A few rabble-rousers outside Rahway's State of the City event last night, handing out info about Mayor Giacobbe's plan to privatize our water. A bit of a shock to have the Mayor announce in his address a complete turn-around on the matter, but we'll warily take the win... for now.
