I think bosses were invented for the arcades to block progress and make revenue. Well designed bosses can be fun but many of them have cheap, unreadable moves that block hinder progress until rote-learned.
Yay! I finished Ys Book I & II on for the Turbografx CD on stream last night. Great game with outstanding music. That last boss however can get in the bin! I had to grind to max level to beat him.
What's you most/least favourite boss in a game? Can a boss make or break a game?

Hehe. They’re definitely large enough to use as foot pedals. To use them you need to map keys to them. Press the star button for 0.5secs then press the key and button you want mapping.

Now that most of the main parts of Razing Core are in place I'm able to go back and upgrade some things where possible.
Today I've been improving visibility in game with some brighter and bigger fonts, bigger powerups, and darker backgrounds.
