Love the amount of international news on my birthday. Meanwhile, I’m just happy my kitchen remodel is done and I’m getting my dog back from my father in law now that trash and food is put away.

So I don’t get balatro. I just beat it on my 3rd try, so I’m not entirely sure what the draw to replay it is other than completionist reasons, which isn’t really me.

These refs missed 2 instances of uga unnecessary roughness (kick return being knocked over post whistle and defense hitting king’s head post tackle). Player safety should freaking matter.

First time uga was shut out in a half at home in 5 years. Yeah bees

I found that I needed charisma so I could get the dialog options I wanted for the story so I played a warlock. Though I found combat more fun as a fighter or wizard. Might come back to it in a bit when I want to try a different path. It gave me serious neverwinter nights nostalgia. Loved that game.

Finally beat baldurs gate 3 last night, after 5 attempts and finally landing on a character I enjoyed playing. The story is phenomenal, though I thought act 3 was weaker and I hated that I was forced into a choice where I felt neither action made sense for my character. Really happy with the ending.

I had that same problem for a bit, turns out it was pushed against the wall, and that messes with the weight sensor.

My robotic litter pan sends my phone a notification when my cat poops. Totally normal cat owner behavior.

Just switched back to iPhone after 5ish years with android. The adjustments aren’t too bad, but the resetting up of apps has been pretty painful. The move to IOS app is worthless since I had to skip a bunch of setup to swap eSIMs and at the point I had already sunk costs to start all over.

Big ass tree fell in my neighborhood. Luckily doesn't seem like anyone is it and houses seem okay with minor damage, but road is completely blocked, cannot get kid to daycare or go into the office. Too big for fire dept to move apparently

Paper clips or staples. Also cell phone pins for ejecting sim cards. My ergodox also had a keyboard shortcut for reset built in initially, but I'm pretty sure I reset that on my 6th or 7th firmware reset.

Did a road trip with the family yesterday, and my 3 year old had 0 accidents!!! My 9 month old however really wasn't a fan of being in a car seat and didn't nap really at all and was very cranky.

Had a crazy small world moment yesterday. Went to my son's classmate's birthday party yesterday, and the hosts played kickball with two of my highschool friends so I got to see them for the first time in 17ish years and catch up.

We're pretty sure we give him sour milk on accident, as neither rmy wife or I drink the milk. We threw it out and bought fresh milk.

He seemed fine before, seems fine after? It was so unexpected.

From my perspective, not the worst thing he's done. From his perspective, he was sad a couple of napkins couldn't clean up the spill (note that the store had to mark off half the store right where pick up is and mop it up)

My oldest just projectile vomited all over Starbucks. He's never vomited before, so that's a new experience.

Took my oldest to a trampoline park for a birthday party. I managed to get stuck in the foam pit and get out just in time to prevent him from going off the big high jump. Kid had a blast, but damn, I was sweating trying to keep up and not let him die.

Happy Monday after DST, I'm struggling, but the kids adjusted.

Haven't posted in a bit, some highlights
1. Oldest son had his adenoids removed and ear tubes put in. Came out of anesthesia ready to fight. Can already tell his hearing is better.
2. Youngest son on the verge of crawling, exciting yet terrifying.
3. Kids don't sleep through night, they used too :(

It's not that great tasting, but it actually has a flavor that isn't terrible unlike other hot sauces I've had. Wife thinks its too sour, only had one bite.

Finally had a last dab hot wing, and it's not as hot as I expected and it's better tasting than I expected. That being said, pretty dang hot, had a few tears, and had to have a glass of milk about 5 minutes after consuming 3 wings. I don't recommend unless you have a strong heat tolerance.

My son went to the potty on his own and pooped!!! Still having daily accidents, but I'm just so happy he pooped on his own in the potty.

Unfortunately had a pee accident right before getting ready for bed and multiple poo incidents during nap time. In general, he did well today, but the poo incidents are really bad, and I'm hoping just a phase. It's only an issue when he's alone for naps or bedtime, we can catch him going otherwise.

While yesterday might've been the worst day for potty training with many accidents (including one of the worst possible poo accidents one can imagine), today was completely accident free. Here's hoping for a multi day streak.

Had the fun of taking my oldest to urgent care for a cut under his lip he got from falling off a stool he was climbing on, surprised at how well behaved he was getting glue applied, though he was climbing and jumping off the chair in front of the doctor during the examination. No stitches, hooray.
