It’s nice to see other people’s images but Bluesky is just another online place my work can be ignored. Really doubt it’s worth the time spent on it, and that goes for instagram, twitter, facebook and any other social media. 2026 is about real life for me.
Remember that time when folk had that wee 3D gallery you could look around and see the NFTs they’d bought 😂 Is that still a thing?

I named the island Ealabhaigh.
I don’t belong to a place in the Hebrides, so I’ve created my own. This ongoing series is how I imagine it. Impressions of an island that only I have seen. Memories of a place I’ve never been to.
When I was deep in the midst of my Hebrides books I’d dream of the islands. A recurring dream of one island in particular. It wasn’t an actual island, or even a place on a specific island. But I always knew that in the dream it was the same distant island.
