Well, thank you. And my gosh, how in the world did you survive that?!
Well, thank you. And my gosh, how in the world did you survive that?!
That sounds about right. LOL
Mannn, have you ever sneezed eight times in a row in rapid succession? I did this morning and by sneeze number five I was fighting for my life. π
My world is breaking for it.π
Everything has a place, and when things are not in the place Iβve established them to be in, my brain has a fit.
Iβm really trying hard to look at things, not in their proper place, and not freak out. Iβm not succeeding, but Iβm trying.
Heβs a community college dropout. Not exactly the person you want to highlight on the dept of educationβs building.
A great weekend of doing nothing. No doing work in/on the business. No discussion of business.
Read all day Saturday, and worked on a puzzle all day Sunday.

I have a very low tolerance for adults who throw tantrums.
It was low before 2025, now itβs extremely low.
The only commercial Iβve liked so far.
something most leadership development completely ignores, the weight of leading ppl thru change they didnβt choose + canβt control.
It's the gap that breaks transformation efforts. Not bad strategy. Unprepared leaders trying to guide others thru something they werenβt equipped to handle themselves.
for navigating the human side of change.
They know how to execute strategy. They donβt know is how to hold space for loss while still moving people forward. They donβt know how to rebuild trust when everything feels uncertain.
The managers delivering those conversations this week are carrying
Amazon's laying off another 16,000 people this week. No one prepares the management team for this part of the job.
What we see in change readiness work is that even well-intentioned leaders freeze in these moments. Not because they donβt care, but because theyβve never been given a framework
Thanking someone for doing something you said you would do is different from apologizing for not doing the thing you said you were going to do.
Iβm not sure if itβs the boycotting, or the fact that we have an Aldi, Costco and an HMart all around the same intersection, where I live.
For sure.
Send Help was a good movie.
Donβt know about you, but by the end of some weeks I. Am. Drained. And All I want to do is read.
This is one of those weeks. Do you have any recs for fun/whimsical sci-fi?
Books read recently:
The Book of Doors
The Night Circus
The Puzzle Box
The Midnight Library
When you realize each day isnβt βone more day,β but itβs one less, youβll start giving more love to the things that truly matter.
Many are going into this new year, fearful, uncertain and not knowing from where your help will come.
Let me encourage you.
The God who walked with you in 2025, through the good and bad, highs and lows, will also be with you in 2026. He will never leave nor forsake you.
Read Isaiah 40:10
I think this is my year of grace. So Iβm expecting the Father to show up and show out in my life this year. Doors opening. Opportunities coming.

Hey doc. I need to be more consistent, thanks for the encouragement.
2025. What can I say, but that it was the hardest year of my life, and Iβm ready to leave it behind.
Yesterday I made a list and went to the grocery store. Came home with nothing from the list. Didnβt look at the list. Forgot I had a list.
This is just one of the ways grief shows up - brain fog.

Me: after 30 minutes of shoveling snow. Iβll just wait until the snow plow guy gets here.
I-O
Walk them to the door.
@queenciji.bsky.social How βbout them Bears?!!! Iβve officially jumped on the bandwagon for the season.
Intentional...everything from this point on.
Time to pack up the fall decorations, which I forced myself to put up in the first place. Wonβt be replacing them with Christmas decorations because I just donβt have the strength. Maybe once it snows, which weβre getting 8 inches of. Weβll see.
