Has anyone checked to see if Spurs accidentally built their stadium on an ancient burial ground?

Hold up
Ah well, can't have everything in life.
I'm aware it doesn't solve the issue of people being offside by a millimeter, but I do think it would feel better if the measurement was based on the players foot because that feels more in control of the players than how they're leaning
FWIW I was this kid and a decent amount of it came from internal/socialized pressure from being known as the "smart kid" and feeling like I had to maintain that status.
I cannot articulate how accurately this describes some of the people I grew around in Kentucky
Ian Wright could convince me to run headlong into a brick wall
I'd set the over/under on how long until FIFA starts experimenting with using quarters to increase ad revenue at about 5 years
If Arsenal win the league it's gonna turn me into the most yer da "defense wins championships" you've ever seen
A team could score an equalizer against City after the ref should have blown the full time whistle and I'd still feel like they "scored too early"
Sorry to say that every answer other than non-binary emo heartthrob Niko Aris is wrong (still upset WOTC only gave them one card before the desparking)
Chelsea have lost four games in 2026...three of them against Arsenal π
We miss Γdegaard more than ever when trying to see out games.
I worry this would make it way too valuable for defenses to just blast the ball out for throw-ins instead of trying to play out.
Teams in the premier league are so physically competitive and there's so much talent that almost any team can make it very hard to score with a well-drilled low block, and I don't think any team has figured out how to break through those from open play without giving up counter attacks.
I'm pretty open to the idea of changing rules (or how they're enforced) to discourage teams focusing on set pieces at the expense of open play--but unless that comes with changing rules to actually increase goals from open play, I think it will just lead to fewer goals in general.
Yeah the goals have come from set pieces but the first half was extremely open with both teams going for it in open play
Zubimendi has such Arsenal DNA, in the best and worst senses (just to be clear I love him)
I want someone better than me to edit an IT Crowd gif of "The thing about Arsenal is they only score from corners"
Dread it. Run from it. Set Piece FC arrives all the same.
Vinai Venkatesham was the managing director/CEO of Arsenal during the period they were getting scammed by agents and generally getting run into the ground; he's now CEO of Spurs during their worst season in like 50 years.
Maybe coincidence but also maybe he just is bad at overseeing football clubs.
Meanwhile, the second half stats:
"Well well well, not so easy to find a head coach that doesn't make Spurs suck shit, huh?" - Thomas Frank, probably
Spurs fans are (fairly) going to be furious that that goal wasn't disallowed for almost the exact same "push" from Muani on Gabriel last week.
But also three Spurs players just watched as a Fulham player received a long ball from Leno about 5 seconds before the goal
Honestly think Salah declining from "best in the world" to "just pretty good" is most of the reason Liverpool fell off this year. Its just incredibly hard to replace that much production from one player
Pretty much a perfect draw for Arsenal!
(Sorry GyΓΆk, I still love you)
GyΓΆkeres scoring two against Spurs is honestly the biggest confirmation so far that they're in a relegation battle
Eze is on pace to overtake Kane's record of 15 goals in NLDs by 2028 (this will definitely continue)
