I can be dumb, vain, clueless.
There are a lot of ‘rules’ for how to look genuine on social media that don’t reckon with the fact that each of us truly being authentic in how we use social media, would, by definition, each look unique. Your account’s never off-putting to me. 🩵 I share the feeling!

I used to be so adamant about having the speakers of my poems all use punctuation marks one exact way so that my language could be literally dissected, but now I've got millions of speakers-of-my-poems who would never use the same punctuation marks at all let alone in the same way. 😂

I miss when we could all "discourse" because we actually had to respect and reckon with the fact that we were a diverse community -and nuance our boundaries and evolve together-, and I've found that having both bluesky and insta helps me not be in an echo chamber of one pocket of us or another.
