I’ve been so terrible at posting here lately! Here’s a live peak of a new song I’m working on that I played at open mic this week. The tempo was actually played 1 to 1.5 times speed I had to sing/play so fast!! They also had a wicked house drummer!! #musicsky #rockmusic #liveacousticmusic

Well, I’m definitely going to have to petition you to check my drums on my tracks! I am never sure if they sound natural or not 😂

😂yeah I can’t metal scream either! I started doing scratch tracks because I am so used to playing/singing at the same time, when I went to record guitar I would lose which verse I was on! Haha which is funny, because it used to be playing/singing at the same time was the challenge

Also, as a guitarist myself, I am crap at playing in time! Haha so that’s something I’ve actually learned programming my own drums and playing bass. Respect to drummers and bassists out there!

Oh interesting! Yeah I used to record the guitars first, but lately I realize that it’s much easier to get the foundation of the song (bass/drums) down and in time first, so I’ll do a scratch guitar track and sometimes scratch vocal track for reference and then drums/bass

Yeah it’s kind of exhausting working on one song at a time to death!

Your welcome! I found them when they toured with Cellar Darling, it’s not the rock/metal music I usually listen to, but it is dark and beautiful! Definitely worth checking out.
