A cropped screenshot from Club Suicide. The main character thinks, [I'm an insensitive person with literal shit for brains.]
poetry....
A cropped screenshot from the backlog in Club Suicide. Tsuzuri Azayomi says, "If you wanna be happy, then just keep on reminding yourself of it. There's no guarantee you'll become happy... but the odds are certainly better than if you only ever complain about how unhappy you are."
soooo true. and so much the reason so many people online are so miserable. "you're a [slur]" "I hate women" "I want to die" "the world hates people like me" "I would be better off dead" posts all in a row โ like buddy you're boiling the water yourself and then getting upset that it's burning you
A cropped screenshot of Club Suicide, focusing on Tsuzuri's hands. The hands are beautifully rendered, even more than usual, particularly for a male character's hands. Like he looks like he got a very nice manicure.
I can tell this artist is really into a specific type of hands. lol. everyone's hands and nails are always beautiful
A cropped screenshot from Club Suicide. The main character says, "I really do think that you're beautiful, Meiyo. I wonder if this counts as having a yuri moment right now... Ahaha, just kidding...!"
meiyo ends clear! could not stop laughing out loud at this line
I hope you can keep making the choices that are right for you even when others/what was taught to you pushes back. It takes strength and self-awareness to do that. ๐
I think the game is very valuable + it's easy to not get a bad end if that's a concern. poor translation, but... it shines through!
and society strongly pushes for the gender expression that was on your birth record... but it's always a choice one can make, and a choice one can change later. it's never too late to stop taking out your internal frustrations on others or yourself and "choose" to live authentically.
ending 20 and 18 for Meiyo first play :) It's difficult to express this, but I've read several troubled trans stories recently and it reaffirms so strongly... that the state of being trans is a "choice". being any gender is a "choice" you can deny. sometimes that denial results in horrors...
A cropped screenshot from Club Suicide. Meiyo is saying, "Ahahahaha! Alright! That settles it! I'm gonna become a girl! I'll become a cute and pure, yuri-loving high school girl."
The main character thinks, [Umm... That's kinda weird... But okay...]
"But okay..." LOL ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ it's a start!!
Calisto Yew for C perhaps? โจ๏ธ

Meiyo's confession is really amazing. it's obviously primarily about gender dysphoria. but while "he" notices the symptoms "he" ascribes the root to another symptom. i'm becoming my dad. toxic masculinity is gripping me. I have to shave so much. I need to die before I become a man like my dad.
A cropped screenshot from Club Suicide. Meiyo Mabuchi is saying, "Hm... I've never read any frog yuri."

A screenshot from Club Suicide. The main character is out with Meiyo at a botanical garden. She thinks, "Although he's obviously a boy the same age as me, I can almost see the shy, innocent girl hidden within him."
read this line and immediately felt the need to blurt "oh goddd" out loud. I don't know if either of them know you can be transgender
A screenshot from Club Suicide. The main character is by the shoe lockers talking to Meiyo, who is off-screen. She says, "Speaking of spring... It looks like the cherry blossoms near the school have bloomed."
Meiyo appears on-screen and smiles, saying, "I saw. Shall we go pick some before they wither away?"
The main character replies, "That sounds like fun... We might even get to see some yuri action while we're there."
SOME YURI ACTION
A choice selection in Club Suicide. The main character is speaking to Meiyo in a library. She says, "So you're into yuri, huh?" Her options are [Tell him you like yuri too] or [Praise his hobby]
I can't believe this is *the* first choice
A CG in Club Suicide of Meiyo standing beside a bookshelf, holding a book over part of "his" face bashfully. Meiyo says, "Yuri is the opposite of all that is wrong in this world... It's a gift of beauty, love, and miracles. I love it so much. Hahh... It's just so precious... Heheh!"
yeah okay. tgirl lesbian

Like worse so in the Setsu relationship/interactions than even male MC in the game. Play the game please.
for those not [yet] watching: yuri (the anime MC) is referred to with "they" pronouns a lot, but is "sexed" as male in official material like their ID, and is generally interpreted by queer fans as (jarringly) being written like a cishet man
donโt forget to destroy your clocks tonight, walk away from your mortgage, just start driving, youโre free
I am not pleased in this situation to be more ultimately correct about it ๐
the survey holder ended up saying "most people responded thinking the MC is going to be nonbinary!" and I was legitimately surprised. like that was my ideal, but *expecting* it was a level beyond my comprehension, lol
there was a survey on tumblr pre-gnosia anime collecting opinions on how game fans thought it was going to go, and I filled it out confident that they were gonna do male MC but overall mildly hopeful about it anyway. low expectations but welcoming pleasant surprises
I've learned this year that showing interest in this part of me and the results of it is integral to me being "seen" and "valued". I feel like this is what makes me "me" more than anything. someone who doesn't engage with it is just seeing my shadow rather than myself.
