Reform have misspelt 2 out of the 3 Welsh words on their manifesto for Wales.
Nigel Farage and Wales leader Dan Thomas proudly held up the manifesto at the launch yesterday.
On the front cover it reads "Family, community, country," which has been translated to "Teulu, gymnued, wlad."

Quietly, calmly and forensically, BBC just dismantled the Trump communications shitshow on Iran.
No hyperbole, just laying out an unprecedented military, diplomatic and reputational shambles.
Worth a watch.

Spanish PM SΓ‘nchez responds to Trump:
"Spain is against this disaster... Govts are here to improve people's lives... It is absolutely unacceptable that those leaders who are unable to fulfill that mission use the smoke of war to hide their failure, and in the process, fill the pockets of a few."

Reform are denying me access to the Welsh manifesto launch...
Remember a few weeks ago when Reform UK threatened to defund Bangor University in the name of "free speech"?
Well despite repeated requests, Reform are not allowing me to attend their manifesto launch.

Here's a striking visual illusion - the 9 purple dots.
Focus your eyes on the top left dot. That one is more purple than the others, right? Now try another dot... that one becomes the purple one! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41744429/

Rare Roman lead ingots found by metal detectorists in Ceredigion
The objects, which were used to produce tools and weapons, were found on grazing land in west Wales.
"Remarkable to think that land we now farm organically once played a role in a much wider Roman landscape". Roman lead blocks found on farmland #Ceredigion #Wales

BBC One - Ardal OβHanlon: Tomb Raider
Ardal O'Hanlon explores a 1930s quest to find the first Irish using archaeology.
Caught this fascinating documentary (BBC 4) last night. On the origins of the Irish people and the politics of the work involved. Made in 2022 but still worth watching, plus an Aberystwyth connection - Ardal OβHanlon: Tomb Raider share.google/WLurhdvAXd5U...

These people are poison. They will unleash racist thugs on the streets of this country and call it security. They will subjugate us to the US and call it patriotism. They must be stopped. There is no more important task in politics.

How far back in time can you understand English?
An experiment in language change
This is super interesting.
The last one I can read fluently is 1600.
I can then still read it and figure out (almost) every word, with some puzzling, but then lose it almost completely at 1200.

The fact that he is just hurting American consumers, American businesses and the US economy not only does not matter to him, I think in the midst of a tantrum like this (and make no mistake, this is a tantrum), he probably sees it as a plus. He's angry at a world learning to say "no" to him.

Genetic underpinnings of chills from art and music
Author summary Many people experience chills when listening to music, reading poetry, or viewing art. Yet not everyone feels these reactions in the same way. These differences provide a window into ho...
A particular moment in my favourite Radiohead song always gives me goosebumps every time I play it. Turns out susceptibility to such βchillsβ (induced by music, poetry, art) varies between people & that genetic differences play a part. The DJI Romo robovac had security so poor, this man remotely accessed thousands of them
DJI may have fixed it now.
He just wanted to control his DJI Romo robot vacuum with a PS5 gamepad.
But it wasn't just one robot that answered his call. Thousands of them, all around the world, reported for duty.
When he showed me, I couldn't believe my eyes.
