Looking towards our gated off wild garden area.
In the large oak tree on the left, I noticed a squirrel drey this morning.
1st one we've had.

I took this early morning at Cley NWT nature reserve #NorthNorfolk, 2 years ago today, waiting for otters.
Wasn't disappointed 🙂

They didn't do as well berry wise this year. Most have gone from various thrushes now.
I bought a few more of them this year. The ones in the photo were planted bare root in 2017.

This time last year, we had a pair of Waxwings in the garden for about 2 weeks feeding on our guelder rose berries.
Day 1 we had had 25!
