That's why I'm on my sixth #EV. I don't drive all that much, though, so they last a good long time before I have to throw them out.

Weak candidate correctly reads the mood of the electorate.
Thank you @warnock.senate.gov. No concentration camps in Georgia. No concentration camps in the US. Never again.
You say you want to fix government budgets?
Great! Immigration is part of the fix, with immigrants contributing more than they get.
You say you want criminals off the streets?
Great! Time to dismantle ICE and CBP and prosecute all of the agents who committed crimes on or off duty.
Online commenters are scapegoating homeless people for yesterday's shooting at Decatur library. Many rely on our that library for services & daytime shelter. This FBI graph shows 10 yr violent crime in Decatur. Visible homelessness is surging in Decatur. Crime is not. They need help, not blame.
Thank you for the recommendation - will check it out!
Interesting coda to this from the antebellum period. I had no idea until I read the article! www.smithsonianmag.com/history/time...
ICE (and, more broadly, DHS) cannot be βreformedβ. Itβs rotten to the core and has been for decades. Both Rs and Ds are complicit in this. The only path forward is abolishing ICE. Create an administrative agency w/o police powers to handle immigration matters.
Haha...urban roulette
"Is it a skunk or weed?" (it's weed)
"Is it gunfire or fireworks?" (it's gunfire)
OMG, this!!!
Caught up to a guy who close passed me recently just as he exhaled. Told him he nearly hit me, and he (high as hell) replied "oh, I'm sorry, man...I didn't even see you."
I was wearing high viz yellow & had lights.
Related, I recently heard from the Georgia Port Authority that volumes are significantly down. Not consistent with a high-growth environment.

Merry Christmas to all.
I hope the Christmas story inspires many people.
And makes a small group of people deeply uncomfortable with their life choices.
New record high temperatures have been set today (Christmas Eve) at our four main climate sites (Atlanta, Athens, Macon, and Columbus). π‘οΈATL: 78 ---> broke the previous record of 73 set in 2016 π‘οΈAHN: 78 ---> broke the previous record... https://x.com/NWSAtlanta/status/2003955919609373039
No, Adobe Acrobat, I don't want your AI feature to summarize what looks like a long document. I NEVER want your AI to summarize the document for me.
Iβm CEO of a justice tech company that tells people never to use ChatGPT for legal advice.
So naturally, I almost lost my NC driverβs license becauseβ¦ I used ChatGPT for legal advice.
DMV said Iβd be suspended for a Virginia speeding ticket. ChatGPT confidently told me the DMV was βclearly wrong.β
Non car people trying to use car metaphors π
Single motor as fun to drive as the dual motor?
Subterranean Homesick Blues. Honorable mention for Talkin' Bear Mountain Picnic Massacre Blues and its utter absurdity (but successful biting social commentary as a result of its absurdity).
What John said. Go read this.
Wow - read the comments from residents of Republican-led Ohio about their power bills this year. This issue has legs. People (even Republicans) want more renewables and question why they're paying more due to data centers. www.cleveland.com/news/2025/10...

Second, a recent NYU study found that emergency room visits for respiratory issues dropped 20% *in a single month* after a coal plant near Pittsburgh closed. And asthma-related visits for kids dropped 41%. (2/2) www.energycentral.com/fossil-therm...
Shutting down coal plants is an unambiguous win. First, @latitudemedia.bsky.social reports that Idaho Power is requesting a rare rate *decrease* due to lower costs after shuttering coal. (1/2) www.latitudemedia.com/news/after-c...

No.
You are a glutton for automotive punishment. Won't be surprised to see you post "looking for a VF8 RN" in 5 years. π€£
Range is a red herring. People want more range because they're not confident charging in public, especially in locations away from home (e.g., annual road trips). They want an EV that can do the trip without having to rely on public charging.
Get infrastructure right, "range anxiety" disappears.
The value of having an energy geek in Congress. This bill by IL Rep. @seancasten.bsky.social is a solid piece of policy. Hoping, but not holding my breath, that it can move forward. www.utilitydive.com/news/casten-...
