This is huge! You guys are creating my dream game 😭
I’d love to see a nice shot of the entire world at some point, it looks so pretty, full of life and interesting, with so many different terrain levels. It’s not flat at all, which makes for such an interesting town to explore, and I love that 🥹
here's how to get around town faster in Paralives! 🚌
They contacted us in the last year about this "project". The idea sold to us creators was something like "do the same thing as you always do and earn extra money from us!". Unfortunately i can't say MANY things about it because there are contracts and i don't want to risk it for being dumb. I've decided i would be OUT of this thing as soon as november and now I read stuff I really didn't know about, all in here and from YOU, i made the last decision. There were many promises as they really do know how to target cc creators who are either greedy or financially struggling and I do admit that they caught my attention, but as the months got by and as they would ask more and more PERFECTION from us (note: i have no idea who else is at the program. They kept us all anonymous to each other by holding us accountable of "our little secret") i noticed this thing wasn't for me at all. I was REALLY just waiting for the bubble to burst or for them to announce it so I could finally be free to AT LEAST talk about it with you guys because i was SCARED of their contracts. This is now a recommendation to all the other cc creators who were caught in their webs: get out. You can just get out. They can't force you to stay. They can't force you to disappoint your community. It's OKAY to not know better. It's okay to make poor decisions based on your needs. But you need to get out as soon as you know better, or else excuses aren't gonna make you more palatable. Just stand up and get out.

The Sims 4 marketplace situation gets worse. EA left out some details when recruiting creators. One bit of good news is it’s still possible for them to back out, as simandy and at least one other person have done.
And the keeping it “our little secret” tactic sounds childish. Sheesh!
So this is it! it was a rollercoaster for sure. what a sad and undignified way to kill the sims 4 (And the franchise?). not even letting it rest in peace. But it’s funny, this sort of mirrors the horrific launch this iteration had. So sort of full circle moment

In fact I’m super excited that 4 won’t get any more big DLC’s. Hopefully this means bugs will slowly start to decrease and I’ll be able to play my save files without always having to start over again simply because bug fixes don’t apply to older save files. This is the best thing for 4 lovers really
This!!! They are so naive if they don’t realise The Sims ends with 4. A lot of people played only because they pirated the game, they have lost the love of big YouTube Sims channels and now they think they’ll fool us to finance other games? Nah, I’m done. I’m so happy I’ll get to play 4-ever 😌
They're turning The Sims into slop and started with Royalty & Legacy. Everything in this article is so depressing. I genuinely never imagined it would end like this but I guess EA was bound to kill it eventually. But the disrespect for the player base is jaw dropping.
Explains why it’s a thematic mess and a slap in the face to the black simming community. personally, I can’t wait for them to move into this new mess and for the sims 4 to be abandoned for good. only then will ts4 go through its reinassance thanks to modders like ts2 and ts3 did.

I’m still hoping that Maxis will be sold to a different company at some point, because otherwise I could see EA shutting it down with no problems at all whatsoever…
Without the support and promotion of bigger Sims YouTube channels, the EA buyout and the fact that they seem to be making a The Sims 4.5 (so no new impressive content but rather recycled one from 4) and that they don’t want to spend money on it,this is not going to last long. The franchise is doomed
If this is all true, then The Sims as a franchise is most definitely dead. What do you mean The Sims 4 is done because the new buyers don’t want to spend that much money in the game? But then they go and send 600$ Coach merchandise to influencers? Like make it make sense? Where are your priorities?

I wonder, do we know what triggers this? I’ve been playing in my save file for a bit and my pictures were fine 🤔
Also, it is interesting to see that only the English speaking YouTube community has stepped away from The Sims. The bigger Sims channels from Spain and France for instance are still in the EA Creator Network and doesn’t seem to care about the buyout at all. Just some food for thought…
I wonder how the future of The Sims looks like now that bigger channels have stopped promoting or even acknowledging their content. I’ve only seen Deligracy post about the new EP, other than that bigger Sims channels are radio silent. How will this affect to the sales and what will EA do with it?
The fact that they want you to buy this now by giving you two kits is so suspicious. It’s like they’re trying to prove to EA that The Sims is still worth keeping, so they’re doing anything they can to get sales. That or they know people know this is the last EP, and they fear it won’t sell well.
