A series of colored sketches of my French faerie child character, Rivière, who has big elfin/deer-like ears, a pink button nose, buck teeth, thick eyebrows, and curly blue hair. They wear fuzzy knit clothing (a beret, turtleneck, and oversized cardigan) and have a big white ribbon around their neck. Rivi is drawn in various expressions and scenarios: laughing bashfully, peering down at something in wide-eyed curiosity, and staring up at something nervously, biting their lip and clutching their fluffy tail. In the last drawing, Rivière and their mentor, a fae named Luna currently in a small serpentine form, have had a mishap with their magic paintbrush, and are coated in orange paint as a result. Luna is squinting in restrained irritation, while Rivi has comedically wet teary eyes. Luna: "I believe our next lesson shall be on AIMING." Rivière: "O-oui, Madame..."

Thank you! Wind Waker in particular was a big influence (just as it has been on me in general since 2003, eheh)

A redesign of the boss Pumpkin Head from Zelda: Oracle of Ages. He's a ghastly spectre in a ragged blue cloak and a beaded sapphire necklace, with a cackling jack-o-lantern head and gnarled hands. Below it is the original sprite from Oracle of Ages.

A reinterpretation of the boss Facade, from Zelda: Link's Awakening and Oracle of Seasons. It's a sinister, ghostly face stretched across a large fancy painting (which is of the spooky castle road out of which Phantom Ganon leaps in Ocarina of Time). Above it is a screenshot of Facade from the Link's Awakening remake.

A reinterpretation of the boss Fraaz, from Zelda: Spirit Tracks. It's a lanky, semi-anthropomorphic creature that's a strange mix of bat, rat, hyena and aardvark, with a long tufted tail. Around it swirl its sources of magic, fire and ice together.

An original Zelda boss design, "Moldragon", a sort of blend of Molgera, a Molduga, and BOTW's dragons. It's a gigantic, draconic sandworm type of beast, covered in jagged armored spikes, and has long whiskers and an enormous toothy maw, out of which green lightning is beginning to burst.

Happy 40th for Zelda! A foundational series for me and still possibly my favorite - I'd have made art ahead of time if I remembered.
