Good point.

I've never seen them in the same room.

Both terrific players somehow undervalued by their country but not by me for sure.

I watched some yesterday and agree, the skill levels are indeed amazing!

I'm ambivalent on him staying for white ball cricket but I would like to see us with a different coach for test cricket. Someone who can get us to take it seriously again rather than as some crazy slogging contest.

I'm no expert at all but I just feel that England have somehow lost their way in recent matches. Now Borthwick is changing half the starting XV for this match, it smacks of panic.

I'm loving seeing Italy do well, it's great for the tournament imo.

Not me for sure.

The dog would be great company on the South Wales walk you mentioned the other day. ๐Ÿ™‚

James it may be best to decide where you want to live, and in which country, before you get a dog as it could be quite disruptive for the animal to move it around if it has already been in a shelter for some time. But a golden sounds a lovely idea.

Finally something to be cheerful about! ๐Ÿฅฐ

I'm having a chuckle about it I must confess. ๐Ÿ˜›

I've never really got on well with fantasy writing but I adored the first three Assassins Apprentice books and the live ship trilogy was great fun! You have many happy hours ahead reading all those.

So sorry James. Keep talking to us, we are here for you. ๐Ÿซ‚

Yes this!

But also make the written instructions large enough that the average person can read them without having to reach for a magnifying glass. Recently bought a LCD clock with instructions so small we ended up photographing the page so we could zoom in to read the words!

Yes indeed. I was surprised just how much information there was available. It's definitely a book I shall listen to more than once, was a great listen!

I have the Audible version. Absolutely splendid book for anyone interested in the period.

Indeed tough on Ireland but lovely to see Zimbabwe progress.

Must confess I had a bit of a chuckle about the Aussies though! ๐Ÿ˜€

You may well find yourself having to buy books 2-4 though!

I have never 'read' the books but I have listened to the Audible versions narrated by Simon Vance who imo has just the most perfect voice for it. Listened a couple of years back and again last year. Wonderful books.

Ratcliffe really is an awful man. Well done to the club for the statement.

Oh yes I agree. My circumstances were different and I had more warning, we had a house to sell and that took time. Don't rule anything out at this point. :)

When I split up with my ex-husband I moved closer to London for work reasons. Looking back I think it helped me so much not to be living in an area with so many memories. It spurred me on meet new people, do new things, start a new life. It may not work for everyone but it worked for me.

We went there as the lights failed. Could be a long evening!

Yes whatever am I thinking!

Hangs head in shame.

I saw an interview from one of the previous matches where Rew was saying that he had got the bowlers bowling at middle stump. Can't help thinking that is a lesson the test team should adopt!

The talking heads on Sky last week after the win were saying that even if Carrick was successful a team like Manchester United need a more experienced manager. I'm not sure I see their logic. You've had experienced managers who have not exactly been a success!

I've always done lamb tegine but now I'm excited by the idea of a beef tagine, thank you!

Oooooh! I did not like the original narration of the books on Audible but will certainly be checking out the new version. Always wanted to hear this trilogy narrated well.

Also the 'I'll be fine in a mini' people from what I have read this morning!

The flooding around here in East Devon is as bad as I have ever known it. We are in the Blackdown Hills and fine where we are but going anywhere at all is a complete lottery! Seems lots of people are trying to get places using country lanes and getting stuck. Sometimes you just need to stay home.
