This is the crux of it for me right here.
Also: if you do like it, this question is not for you and you needn't fight me on it. Please move along. π
I want to know: who else shares my wildly unpopular sentiment in disliking Game of Thrones?
Thank you, Alec. π

In an underwater scene, a sailfish, a mola, a mermaid whose flowing hair recalls marine algae, a dugong, and several golden trevally are grouped together in a vertically-oriented composition with some kelp against a black background. The illustration is drawn with intricate linework, with an emphasis on contours and varying line weight, and with areas of solid black ink.

Shared by someone with βNo Gen AIβ in her bio, whoβs blocking people who point it out. Someone a *lot* of you apparently follow.
And oh hey, look where the pic on the left seems to have originated, per reverse image search - only one of the most obnoxious content thieves of twitter.
Not only is the version thatβs being shared AI-edited, itβs cropped to remove the photographerβs watermark.
I didn't take part in #InCoWriMo / #LetterMo again. I'm just struggling at the moment and mostly trying not to spiral.
Who doesnβt like to be photographed with #PerfectLighting that can show off your best side? Not this Yellow-billed Magpie, with their sharp suit, and that glint in the eye with the head held just so for the camera!

Fun fact! If you share this starter pack around, the really cool artists in it will get more followers, and I think thatβs really neat π₯°

If you are interested in the relationships between palaeontology and pop culture, in science fiction, in history of science or in all of the above this episode of Terrible Lizards (one of the podcasts I enjoy and recommend the most!) is really worth a listening.
If you need Saturday listening material, check out my chat with @davehone.bsky.social and Iszi Lawrence on the latest Terrible Lizards podcast. Two medical doctors, two twentieth-century dinosaur novels. Whoever wins, we lose: terriblelizards.libsyn.com/tls12e02-1
Brown pencil of my character, #PudgyHorse, a baroque type horse with luxuriant mane and tail and deliberately exaggerated proportions, including an extremely generous girth and short, delicate legs with dainty hooves. Pudgy is leaping in the air in a not dissimilar movement to the Croupade in classical dressage.
Now if only #PudgyHorse could invoke the same necessary fire to help me...
