I struggle a lot with imposter syndrome since I'm able to live a relatively normal life, so it was pretty validating. (Also amusing, because it's just my skin! I've had it my whole life!)

Mentioned to the anesthesiologist before my endoscopy that I have EDS, and he perked up. "You have the stretchy skin?" So I tugged on my face a little and he got SO excited. "That's so cool! You hear about it but never see it in the wild!"

Kicking off 2026 with a gastric emptying study and an upper endoscopy on the books, so that's cool I guess. Love to have chronic conditions that cause additional chronic conditions!

Nearly 10 years into our marriage, and tonight my husband tells me the reason he agreed to the wedding date I picked is because it's the day Charlie Bucket went to the chocolate factory. I've never laughed so hard in my life.
