I struggle a lot with imposter syndrome since I'm able to live a relatively normal life, so it was pretty validating. (Also amusing, because it's just my skin! I've had it my whole life!)
Mentioned to the anesthesiologist before my endoscopy that I have EDS, and he perked up. "You have the stretchy skin?" So I tugged on my face a little and he got SO excited. "That's so cool! You hear about it but never see it in the wild!"
