The people of BC deserve to feel safe. We are putting in the work at the province, now it is time for more changes at the federal level.
Today, I sent proposals to the federal justice minister to strengthen the Criminal Code and ensure our justice system prioritizes safety and accountability.

These were my great grandpa’s. A replacement Head Tax certificate signifying when he immigrated to Canada in 1910, and a certificate of Canadian Citizenship from 1947 (the year the Exclusion Act was repealed and the Canadian Citizenship Act came into affect).

To Poilievre's friends.
Lay off Carney's kid. Stop being a bunch of bullies and jerks.
It's not okay.

Apparently Tesla sources steel from Finland and SpaceX sources steel from Korea. What are the odds that they won’t be getting tariffed and why doesn’t Elon want to back American Steel?

We love our country. We will not be dictated to – or bullied by – anyone.
This morning I outlined BC’s response to unjustified US tariffs.
We will always be the True North. Strong and Free.

There has been a lot of chatter today about Zelenskyy's meeting with Trump, some regarding this moment when White House correspondent Brian Glenn asked if the Ukrainian president plans to wear a suit. I want to address idea in this thread. 🧵

The people of Ukraine have suffered immensely since the Russian invasion. We all hope for lasting peace that protects Ukrainian sovereignty. We stand with the Ukrainian people.

B.C. NDP and B.C. Greens announce co-operation agreement
At a time of polarization, I thinks its important to find agreement & cooperate across differences to better serve people.
We arrived at this agreement through hard work & a shared commitment to stability and outcomes for people. Grateful for the work.

I wish I had taken more behind the scenes photos with Dan. I wish we had more time for drinks, catching up, and shit talking each other’s hockey team.
Make sure you treasure the time you have with those you love. It’s the reason we’re all here.

I’m so thankful for every early morning event, every rushed media pre-brief, every stakeholder tour, every fresh air break, every end-of-week ferry ride, and every late night at the Legislature. You effortlessly made people feel appreciated, seen, and welcomed.

Being a political staffer is such a weird and privileged life. You get to see people at their highest highs and lowest lows — in loud moments banging on desks and in quiet moments when the weight of the work sinks in.

Thank you @dacoulter for every memory. You always fought for those who didn’t have a voice and never lost sight of working people. We were all so lucky to have known you and the world is a little colder without you.

Questions for myself, my community, and the universe:
Who is your community and where does it show up? Online or in-person?
How are you engaging with and participating in your community?
What are you getting out of it?
And what are you adding?
