My mom is an immigrant. I’ve always looked at America as a nation of immigrants. You want to talk about breaking laws? How many has our president and his cabinet broken so far? Rounding up people as they show up for their citizenship court dates? Disgusting.
To say now white people are facing the same level of fear and targeting that black and brown folks have faced in America all along is true. Keep your mouth shut. Pledge allegiance, or else. America under Trump.
I’m sitting at an outdoor restaurant, alone, listening to live jazz and waiting for my food. And I am stressed to the point my eyes are watering. I just want to live in a country that aligns with my values. I don’t want to live in fear that my government wants to destroy anyone who dissents.
