Huge shout-out to @americanair.bsky.social for reminding me why I never fly with them. Flight delayed 3 hours and rising 🙃 Will definitely be missing my uncle's funeral, if I make it to Buffalo at all.
Anyway, hi! It’s my first post on Bluesky. I have no idea if I’ve adhered to the appropriate conventions, and I might not post again for many months :P but I don’t feel bad about this being my first (WATCH ARCANE!) 7/6
I guess what I’m trying to say is I think one of the best ways to come to terms with wanting more of something is to just think about and discuss what that “more” would be and how it’s already implied but the text. And also that I love the Arcane fandom. And also watch Arcane 6/6
By continuing to think about the show and the characters and ruminate on what might have happened in between, I can deepen my appreciation for what I do get to see! And being able to see fanart or read interpretations like this one has really brought that into focus 5/6
The time that I’ve had to sit back from it has made me appreciate that the characters also had time. Things happened in between scenes we see on the screen, sometimes days or weeks worth of things. Healing was done, both physical and emotional 4/6
I agreed with and commented on others’ posts that there should have been more episodes, more seasons, more something to give it all room to breathe. I actually said I liked s1 better 😂 (I no longer feel that way) 3/6
When I finished e9, I was devastated and overwhelmed and desperately wanted more. I remember the first thing I said to my friend was “Loris deserved better,” because that was literally the only thing small and simple enough to wrap my brain around at first 2/6
I actually agree, I think this piece of character work is important both to Jinx and to the audience and deserved to be shown, but it's got me thinking more generally about how to reconcile "I love this show so much" and "I wish there was more/I wish some things had been different" 1/6
