Here's the Shae, which I did up as an ice counterpart. I used Windsor & Newton iridescent Medium to add some more interest for her 'hair', which is a translucent blue.

She picked the Wizkids gargoyle and shae pair. She thought they looked cool, so I did a play off fire and ice.

Two reaper miniatures, Gladiator with Trident and Beggar, I guess. I made a big mistake with these - unhappy with Nuln Oil, I made my own black wash with carbon ink and while it looked great in the beginning, it leached into the varnish and made them look dull. Oooops! #miniatures #reaper

Last but not least, the Sorceress! I'm really happy with the way her dress came out. I'm less happy with her right eye, which I repainted 5 times before realizing the eye was bulging on the sculpt. Sadly I lack the skill to perform eye surgery at this scale. #talisman #miniatures

The Assassin. I finished him on the weekend but didn't feel like posting him given the actual assassinations that have happened. So much death and despair lately. Be kind to each other.
I loved the Princess Bride as a kid. This is so awful. 😢 I feel sick, and I have a terrible feeling the last project he was working on was the reason he was murdered. Godspeed to you and your wife, Rob. Your legacy will endure for a long time to come.
