Oh I’ve got Mac’s in my collection that still have good ol’ FireWire. I’ve got a PCI card in one of my G3s as well that added USB and FireWire on one card. I would be willing to bet if I could get a new battery for it it would probably be as good or better than current music players.

Absolutely 100% agree, it would have been the best present ever when I was in school. I do have several macbook pros now and several imacs and several powerpc macs all in the name of someday having a vintage gaming cafe. we'll see if I ever get there lol.
