Having one's boobs cubed is definitely a miserable experience and can be nerve-wracking if you've got reason to think you may have a cancerous spot.

Just don't test my depth perception.

I'm shocked because I have a long history of issues with color, so wtf.
Encountering the flying corn at Hartsfield Jackson was a surreal thing the first time we had to fly through the E gates. We don't typically make it that far out.
Why isn't your GROWN ASS SELF seeking out young people to SUPPORT instead of pointing your judgemental finger at them from your couch?
Yep. I hate spring. Between pollen and tornadoes, no thank you. Plus, let's be frank about the south and "spring" temperatures, we get maybe two weeks with highs in the 60s/low 70s, and then it's straight to 85 and 85% humidity.
Sis-in-law and I are both getting impatient to get our seedlings started in our respective gardens, but are glad we held off. Atlanta's going to freeze overnights for a few nights early next week. Note that our high a few days ago was 80.
Maybe the already horrible pollen count will drop.
"Attention seeking", yet this is coming from somebody who was outright ignored six years ago and still can't get the hint you aren't interested in talking with them.
Pot meet kettle, Jimmy boy.
Into the garbage bin they go, right next to Target.
We donβt need your shitty brands! Youβre expendable but trans people are not.
Are you allowed dwarf tree varieties?
Do they have a clue how much trees cost? Admittedly I'm also thinking in terms of tornado season (not an issue for you, so much) but my immediate thought is "huh, they really want trees to fall on the house the first windstorm rolls through, don't they?"
@drjengunter.bsky.social In the hopes that you see this, how do you recommend finding a good menopausal specialist in the US, especially one who is open to prescribing HRT for someone with a history of DVT? I've had two docs refuse completely despite the studies showing transdermal being safe.
Good luck. <3
I'm waiting for them to all come out wearing the pointy toed shoes ("poulaines") from the middle ages that got so ridiculous, they used to have to tie them up into a curl to compensate for length (also a historic dick measuring thing that predated the codpiece).
That or clown shoes.
I know. Reminds me of the whole codpiece ridiculousness. LOOK AT THE IMPLIED SIZE OF MY JUNK!
These yahoos don't seem to realize that this posturing bs just makes them look extremely insecure and makes the general public ask certain questions about why that is.
They're all wearing the wrong size. The Trump administration is notorious for wearing the wrong sized shoes, clothes, etc. None of them seem to be able to figure out fit. Supposedly Trump is obsessed with this brand of shoes, asks people for shoe size (or he guesses) and orders them shoes.
Hehehehe, Little Free Book Club.
I think it's generally sweet, you enjoyed a book, you want to share that joy/experience with others.
You can't please everyone, but insisting on trying to do so is a quick way to piss almost everyone off. Too many companies make that mistake and it goes extra hard when it comes to creative mediums.
This is a very good piece. It's not just diversity issues, Pixar has become so entrenched in the idea of not offending anyone, that in the end, they won't take risks at all. The characters and plots end up stilted & unrealistic, & the end result is bad (or really meh at best).
Thank you for getting us a day off.
We need more color in everything right now. Clothing trends: beige and white. Homes: white, beige, grey. Cars: black, white, maybe red, grey.
As somebody who thrives on color, this stuff drives me nuts. We're starved for/afraid of color & claim it's "luxury". GIVE US BACK OUR COLORS, DAMMIT.
Yeah, I had been waiting impatiently for the new buses, was fully intending to get one. I'm still mildly bitter.
VW really shot themselves in the foot with the whole thing. The prototype looked more like the T2s than what went to market, and that was frustrating. The battery range is meh to terrible, so as a road trip vehicle it'd be a nightmare, and size wise it's not exactly a city vehicle. So... *shrug*
It's just unfortunate that the battery for them was so damned terrible compared to other electric vehicles.
It's a notoriously terrible vehicle, but if I could get my hands on a vintage VW Type 2 microbus in an obnoxious color, I'd be a very happy person. Happy, but not exactly comfortable or moving all that fast.
Gloriously obnoxious. I have a fondness for VWs, so orange, yellow, lime green, etc just make sense.
Nothing quite like sitting in a surgery center (not a patient, hauling family to/from their appointment), listening to the renovations next door. Power tool sounds in this context are extremely disturbing.
I have family connections that put me within three degrees of all the major Republican (mostly non-MAGA) figures, & had I been the evil version of me & wanted to get involved in Conservative politics, could easily have used those connections as an in.
Bad simplification of wording: gluconeogenesis is the process of using other molecules to create glucose when there isn't any. Metabolically speaking, we're designed to run on glucose & results of breaking down glucose, so when there is none, there's a backup, because glucose is that necessary.
