Sweet Bobblehead Jesus!!! We’ve had two feet of snow in the past week and a half or so. All of the roads aren’t even plowed yet. Now the new forecast just dropped, saying 12-18 inches are coming between tomorrow morning and Wednesday. Argh!!!!!

It is. But wait! We got another 10 inches after that and are forecast to get foot starting Sunday.

We got 11 inches of snow in the last 24 hours. Shall I send you some of it?

My husband had the honor of meeting Mrs. Thurgood Marshall while attending a workshop for teachers about the Supreme Court. She and Justice Sandra Day O’Connor hosted a reception for the participants. His discussion partner was a judge named John Roberts, pre Supreme Court.

He’s actually my middle brother’s grandson, but we all claim him. 👶

I served on the grand jury for the last two weeks of January. I noticed we were all studying the attorneys’ style of presenting evidence, questioning witnesses, and addressing the jurors. Definitely differences, which did influence some perceptions of competence. It was a true learning experience.

Good news from yesterday! Hubby’s surgery went very well and he’ll be discharged in a few hours.
Best news? The first grandchild of the siblings arrived yesterday! He was two weeks early, but is perfectly healthy. Mama did great! 8 pounds with huge feet. Government name is Gibson. 🥳💕

We watch their YouTube videos when we’ve had enough of the world.
