Good point. We have a version with the buttons falling but that causes layout issues because the buttons/ribbons are at the top of the app and you want to have the headline below...
Takes out all the tension. The question really is how far can you go before people start being confused about what it is.
The headline outside the app does precisely that: It makes you imagine it inside the editor.
Probably depends. But that people are not being able to write because of the horror vacui is not something we ever heard in the last 15 years. :-)
Ha. Stemming is Germlish for "lifting". Wasn't aware that this doesn't exist in English. (I made the translation only to explain the German poster.)

I've always wanted to see iA Writer on posters in the streets of Zurich. This week we took a few days to make a draft. What do you think?
They are inspired by the VW bug ads from Ogilvy. I think they work as posters as well as magazine ads (magazine ads are not gonna happen though).
Thanks for pointing them out. Worked on it until one hour before going on stage. Need to go through it and clean it up, still.
