that are driven by so many down here/around the country. He's trying really hard to convince those MAGA folks because pretty soon, it will take a day's pay to fill up their truck.

Let's explain it to him in picture form. Looked up gas stations in my area, north of Dallas, and compared them to stations in NJ. They are all about the same. So, Texans, who earn less overall, will be having the same gas expense than higher paid NJ workers. Now add in the ginormous pickups

County, they would lose TX". Given that Donald is going to "tell" one of them to drop out, he's going to be testing that theory when 40% of the county GOP voters stay home for future elections. The road to impeachment AND conviction may run right through Texas and Collin County!

As someone who has lived in Collin County since the 90's, I never thought I'd see the day that *neither* GOP got more than 40% in their Primary...and then to see the historic surge in county Dem votes! Long-time area residents may remember the saying back then: "If the GOP were to ever lose Collin

Didn't he do the same with Comey? He was out and about when it was announced.

Totally IMO, I can see him firing Bondi next and giving the job to Paxton in exchange for dropping out of the TX runoff. I say that given the rumors that Donald is going to endorse Cornyn, and Paxton has reportedly said that he will NOT drop out.

Correction, the 20% in Collin County was spread amongst several GOP candidates that had no chance of winning.

group. FWIW, Collin County, once a bright red county now pink in POTUS elections, both of them only got 40% while around 20% rejected both of them & voted for the guy who had no chance of winning. Donald stepping into the runoff is not the save that he thinks it is.

Judging by DFW area FB pages, MAGA/Paxton folks are pissed that Trump may endorse Cornyn & "tell" Paxton to quit. Calling Cornyn a RINO, one guy says Trump needs to "sit this one out". So Donald is gonna piss off half of the overall TX GOP, whether it be the MAGA Paxton folks or non-MAGA Cornyn

of the GOP runoff. These folks ignored a small trash can fire in their home, now their entire house in engulfed in flames and they pull out a squirt gun.

around the State. Then came the Dem's State Senate seat win. TX GOP has had many years/election results to reverse course & detach from MAGA. They ignored all the smaller bells, tried to keep their "TX problem" off the national radar. And now, Donald is going to "tell" Cornyn or Paxton to drop out

05.03.2026 15:03 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

If the GOP had paid attention to TX's small alarms over the years, there'd be no current large bells. Since MAGA arrived, at least 2 North TX once bright red counties, Collin & Tarrant, have changed to pink in POTUS elections. In 2025, they lost local elections (city council & school boards)

(D. Rather) "In total, 100,000 more Democrats voted in the Texas primary than GOP. Compared to the 2024 Senate primary, more than twice as many Democrats voted yesterday. That is rare in the Lone Star State. Not since 1970 have so many people voted in a Democratic midterm primary, according to CNN.

Someone in a city next to mine In Collin County posted a photo of his polling site bragging re: how the Dem line was empty & the repub line was long. I pointed out to him that with Donald's announcement today, half the people in that "long GOP line" will have their votes squashed.

One of the Props that Texans approved last night was about *parents* being the decision makers about their children. If those parents support their trans kids and make decisions in their medical care, etc... seems this new voter approved Prop says that Abbott/MAGA need to STFU & stop interfering.

05.03.2026 01:16 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

GOP rejected them BOTH last night, even in Paxton's home county (Collin) where he only got 40% (as did Cornyn). But since when does Donald accept reality. He's about to take down the entire GOP by pushing Paxton on Texas voters.

05.03.2026 00:12 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Donald couldn't make it 24 hrs without interfering with the Texas Primary GOP results. The panic is real. He's gonna tell Cornyn to kick rocks. Paxton was one of the Jan 6 ringleaders, he went to DC that day with RAGA (GOP State AG's). This Senate seat is meant to reward him. Reality is, pre-MAGA TX

Since he is fixated on the props that passed, how about he acknowledges parents and not him/MAGA get to make decisions for their trans kids, no matter what the decision may be. Can't have it both ways, Greg.

This is also Paxton's home county. Where his divorce is going through the court system. His estranged wife is the State Senator for much of the area.

County Dem turnout was historic for a Primary. Highest, per local news, in 20 years. All of this will have the GOP terrified. Back when the county was bright/deep red, there were sayings "If the GOP were to lose Collin County, they would lose TX" and "As goes Collin County, so goes TX".

Neither Paxton or Cornyn got to 50% in Collin County (north of Dallas, suburbs/rural mix). Not good for overall GOP given it's the DFW area county that the GOP has a history of winning 60-70% in POTUS elections.. Until MAGA came along, then it dropped to low/mid 50's.

the State Senate seat, and now this primary disaster. Honestly, they've had years to correct course. What were once ruby red counties in North TX turned into pink in the last 2 POTUS elections. Yet GOP still clung to MAGA/Donald. It has caught up to them.

can't carry TX in November but they also know that they will anger their Dear Leader by trashing/attacking Paxton. So, what is a cult to do? This has been brewing in TX for a while, but GOP has downplayed it. TX GOP lost many local elections last year. School boards, city councils. Then the Dem won

04.03.2026 05:57 ๐Ÿ‘ 2 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

This is full stop Texans rejecting MAGA and, IMO, GOP altogether. Paxton lost in all major Metro counties and the suburban counties surrounding them. All 4 major North TX counties, including his home county (Collin). ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Then we have the GOP incumbent who can't even get to 50%. GOP knows Paxton

Will Donald be able to keep his mouth shut for the next few months? Will Cornyn have the balls to trash Donald's preferred candidate?

Better yet, as much as Donald will want to endorse Paxton, the current results show Paxton losing the big 4 counties in North TX (including his home county) & other big metro counties statewide. TX is rejecting Paxton tonight. Cornyn is MAGA boot licker but Paxton = superMAGA/Trump preference.

Per MSNOW, according to one Democratic Party election judge in Dallas County, Texas...

Almost half of the voters in their precinct were turned away and couldn't vote because they were registered in another precinct.

Plus the voting location website for Dallas County crashed and wasn't available.

Just to add some clarification to Texas Primary: Dallas County residents HAD to vote at their precinct poll stations. Collin County (north of Dallas), we could go to ANY polling station for both early voting and today. Each county decides who can vote where. Given how HUGE Dallas County is,
