Not much nee this week for me. Just retouched a couple of my previous drawings.

Reworked another one of my drawings. I'm really liking the look of this more variable linework.

True!

Here's the same piece done in both line styles. The lines in the newer version definitely feel like they matter more to the overall piece.

I found it surprisingly easy once I doubled my brush size. I think all the face sketches helped, since I had to use a big thick brush for itty bitty line work.

It's definitely a lot nicer to set max line width and go from there. I usually set my width a bit larger than I need so I don't have to use quite so much pressure.

I just started making a real effort to vary mine more. A lot of my favorite artists use dramatically varied line width and I think it looks a lot better than my old way of doing line work.

Touched up one of my favorite pieces today. The changes are subtle, but I'm happy with the result.

It is! It's been really nice to be able to turn ideas into finished pieces quickly and without the cost or tooling that they'd normally require. Mostly I've just been making figurines, but I've printed plane and motorcycle parts too.
