I've loved giraffes since I was a kid, and got to visit my state capital's zoo last year.  They had a nice big giraffe enclosure there, so I got to see a few real ones roaming around.  There was even a booth high-up where I could feed a few leaves to some!  It was honestly a really magical feeling, seeing and experiencing that with good friends <3 Today, my self-insert is living a similar experience.  However, I'm taking it one step further, seeing if I can get up close and personal with the giraffes by hopping into the enclosure with them!  It seems the zoo security was prepared for folks to try that, though...  I barely made it a few steps in before feeling a quick ZAP, and promptly experiencing some tingling in my neck and head! I suppose the zoo is enforcing that the only beings allowed in the giraffe enclosure are giraffes...  Not that I mind!  I love giraffes a lot, so what could be better than BEING one alongside the others??  For however long I'll be stuck as an exhibit, I'll certainly enjoy having a long stride and craning my neck all around to nibble on leaves :D Panel 1: My self-insert is smiling as a giraffe transformation begins. He's holding his slightly-elongated neck, and poking at horns protruding from his head. Panel 2: The transformation progresses rapidly, shocking me as my neck rapidly extends outward. My ears and horns have grown out more, my face is pushing out into a snout with a longer tongue, my torso is bulking up, my arms are becoming longer and lankier, and my fingers are merging into hooves. Panel 3: The transformation is completed. I'm a long tall bendy giraffe, wobbling awkwardly as I stand upright on my two back giraffe legs. My neck and front legs are bent up as I try to take in my new form, looking down happily as I get to experience living alongside my favorite animals AS one of their own!
