Ended up hooking a path curve to a bunch of empties last night so that I can animate changes in the path (used by a constant stream of particles)
... remains to be seen how well that will work for what I plan on doing but I think it's the easiest method that I know for what I am planning
Yeah, I did more research yesterday. Didnt realize that there was a rotation with Elevation, so at the rate sets are released it should be a long time. The db I think is fine, it does the same thing e.g. scryfall does.

I think two of the identities I wanted to build are rotating out, not because I think theyre good but because I wanted to play the unrestricted singleton identities. Will probably still build them, since the people Im playing with will be playing casually atm anyway
Unsure if it's just because I was out of it, was a slight pain trying to figure out what cycle is rotating out of netrunner standard earlier. The newest set is at the top of the list and then the other cycles dont appear to be in release order, and the links go to db which doesnt have the date

... I spent a while in my free time at work (away from blender) writing out the calculations to get the angle along an arc from coordinates by hand to make sure I remembered how to do it, only to realize that there's literally a "distance along curve" node that did what I wanted

Netrunner core comes in tomorrow, oh boy. I kinda want to sleeve it all up, color coded by which side the cards are for. Blue for corp, red for runner maybe? Unsure.

Which part? This is a mesh I made around his body using a loop around the arm and neck that I extruded down, then mapped using an addon @2dongz.bsky.social recommended, using transferred weights from the body. The ends (at the neckline and shoulder) I then shrinkwrapped to the body

Yeah, I thought the star trek set was an odd choice. Like, it's a popular IP but it doesn't fit well with the rest of magic and I don't *think* trekkies are the type to get things *just because* they're star trek, like FF fans
Yeah, this one's definitely up there for me too. Not as bad as e.g. the spongebob secret lair but it's up there.
I mostly play EDH, Modern, Canadian Highlander, and Cube, though, so it's not like I interact with cards from the other sets a lot anyway
