I hope so, it's a different kettle of fish in European games, open expensive football is a lot easier when the opposition don't put 10 or 11 men behind the ball as in the PL, it's so refreshing & I've preferred it all season long, but we need to win the league really, anything else is a bonus.
I think that was the idea with focusing on the defence and being tough to beat from the start of Arteta's reign, remember he played for Arsenal when the headlines were all "Arsenal don't like it up 'em!" and "Arsenal's soft underbelly exposed again", I think that has stayed with him

I certainly didn't, I've always accepted there are multiple ways of playing the game. I do remember a lot of noise about Arsenal having a soft underbelly, not "liking it up 'em", etc. I am pleased we have turned that narrative around and find it amusing that it upsets people who said those things.
So, having spoken to a few people, listed to some pods and read numerous posts and comments, I think I might possibly be the only Gooner who wasn't nervous last night and remained confident and fairly relaxed throughout, I just didn't see Brighton as a threat and that's backed up by the statistics
