This one was a pretty good puzzle game. It has a pretty unique premise where you play as a chameleon and blend into the floor you walk on to hide from enemies. It’s too long and the puzzles aren’t too hard which is good.

I’ve never heard about this SNK series until now but it ended up being pretty good. The combat is similar to Samurai Shodown with this emphasis of sword fighting and it has some great looking stages.

#JustBeatIt @polykillpodcast.bsky.social No.248 Monster Maulers (ARC). This fighter is amazing. It’s got tight controls, great sprite work, and over-the-top action. Add in a fantastic soundtrack (including some cheesy vocal tracks), and you’ve got a clear winner. Konami goodness at its finest!
Salamander 3 steps it up in intensity from the previous game. I found it very fun and difficult on easy 😅. It first came out a few months ago on the Gradius Origins collection. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
