In other words if there's no price for voting for a fascist based on a fantasy, it only serves to invite the same thing down the road when everything doesn't go perfectly under a Dem administration. It's not about the noncitizens - it's about their loved ones that are citizens and do vote.

Millions of people voted GOP because they believe this guy had some kind of economic magic wand, with full knowledge of risk to their friends/family of deportation. If the party they voted against bail them out of such draconian consequences, what would prevent them from dubious reasoning in future?

Yeah not personal. Just pointing out a reality. I know social media feels like a comprehensive world of voters being represented. What it reflects is a super engaged, often times angry emotional voter who already has deeply held views. Yes that slice is probably growing but still relatively small.
