Soccer fan here. I can't conceive of a healthy World Cup hosted by the US right now. It would require a huge positive shift in the next couple of months, or a complete papering over of conditions in the US to make it 'palatable'. Hard to imagine the shift. Don't want the make believe.

It's not an entity, it's a position. There's no organization or leadership or membership. Hopefully the majority of Americans are against fascism.

What if the position of one side is that they don't want the other side to exist? How do you live here with someone who doesn't want you to live here, who is trying hard to remove you from the picture?
