You picked a great one to get started with! It's very forgiving (won't rewet) but still handles so much like normal gouache. It's more opaque than even some acrylics out there.
Just pick 4 or so and noodle with palettes, mix stuff, have fun! Heavy watercolor paper or illoboard is your friend.
