I drive Portrush to London via Stranraer several times a year & never stop longer than lunch & loo (40 mins) enroute to charge. This has included full car (5 passengers), roof box & heater on in winter - driving at normal motorway speed.
Battery packs will not need replacing - this is a myth.
My business relies on EV uptake, but I would never buy Tesla. Simply couldn’t bring myself to pay Musk.
They are convenient due to the exclusive charging hubs, but that will fade. The American base he’s pandering to are never going to be a big EV demographic. Others will be put off by his politics.
