The most loyal of the Lionsguard! Absolute favorite character. Great job @mediarhoades.bsky.social
Eight miniatures assembled and painted from the first Trench Crusade plastic kit. Seven miniatures have been kitbashed with heads from Statuesque Miniatures, while the miniature with the blue coat slung over her shoulder was assembled with a head from the original kit. Their color schemes are variations of the uniforms that Ramza Beoulve wore during the events of the video game, Final Fantasy Tactics.
Three images of the character Ramza Beoulve from the video game Final Fantasy Tactics. The first image from the left is a figure of Ramza in his academy outfit. The center picture is a figure of Ramza in his mercenary outfit. The last picture is a graphics render of Ramza in his unique job class Gallant Knight.
Trench Crusade plastic kit is painted and done. The color schemes were based on Ramzaβs outfits from Final Fantasy Tactics. I came into the tabletop minis hobby from playing FFT. Hoping my hobby shop gets the next sets of plastic kits. Really looking forward to plastic kits for other factions, too.
A Trench Crusade plastic miniature. This feldkaplan wears a turquoise hooded robe, and over that wears red armor with gold trim. Dark purple wings sprout from an unseen backpack she is carrying. She uses both of her hands to wield a large two-handed sword that is glowing jade. A multi-colored tabard hangs from her waist. She stands on muddy ground, her right foot on a sandbag.
Feldkaplan is the 8th and final mini Iβve painted of the Trench Crusade plastic kit. @thearmypainter.bsky.social speedpaint metals did quick work on the armor. I wanted to go more pastel pink on the hair (head from @statuesque.bsky.social) but I will try pushing that color on future TC plastic kits.
Iβve got one last miniature to finish from the first plastic kit. The pre-order for the new Trench Crusade plastics is good timing. I have a few more Statuesque Miniatures heads to use for head swaps, so the next squads I work on will be right at home with the first squad of women with bright hair.
Thank you! I would have left it solid brown, but the box art inspired me to try it out. My thanks to the painter that did the box art.
Iβd run a whole squad of them if possible. Related: a 40k Salamanders army sounds good to me, too.
A painted Trench Crusade plastic miniature. This miniature wears blue-tinged silver armor and holds a rifle in her right hand and a short blade in her left hand. A greatsword is hung behind her at an angle that allows the top to peek out behind her left leg. Her blue coat with yellow trim is slung over her left shoulder. Her leg armor is reddish copper in color, but is difficult to see due to being in shadow. She has her right foot planted on the skull of a horned demon.
The Hauptmann is the seventh miniature that Iβve painted from the Trench Crusade plastic kit. Her gigantic braid and armor gave me vibes of the steady, competent Agrias from Final Fantasy Tactics. Throw in the jacket slung over her shoulder giving her more swagger and that made this kit a must buy.
A Trench Crusade plastic miniature with a head swap from Statuesque Miniatures. Her hair is pink. She is wearing a dark olive uniform, purple armor with a golden bird emblem on the chest, reddish brown pants, and dark grey boots. She is standing on muddy ground, her right foot on top of a sandbag. She grips a flamethrower with both of her hands.
The sixth Trench Crusade plastic miniature that Iβve painted up. I liked the stosstruppen since they have armor pieces that I can paint up with a bunch of scratches, but this one was my favorite. Sheβs got the armor, a cloak, flamethrower, all while hefting a tank of gasoline across the battlefield.
A Trench Crusade plastic miniature with a head swap from Statuesque Miniatures. This Yeoman has orange hair and is dressed in a dark olive uniform, brown-reddish pants, and dark gray boots. She is running through mud, carrying a gas tank on her back, and wielding a flamethrower held in both hands.
5 out of 8 of the Trench Crusade plastic minis painted up. For all of the head swaps Iβve done, I went with bright, unnatural hair colorβ¦ although the glockenspiel one was blonde. I wanted the flamethrower tip to be a brighter orange than her hair, but decided that one bright focal point was better.
Is there any way you could get a miniatures show going? Or maybe sneak in a Trench Crusade mention?
In the middle of the cake, to help him celebrate, is End of Days Kindergarten Cop Arnie!
Itβs only polite to maintain eye contact with Peekles. No need for your gaze to go any lower. Peekles is just one goblin.
A painted plastic miniature from Trench Crusade. The character is blonde, dressed in a dark olive uniform with red piping, reddish-brown pants, and grey boots. In her right hand she is holding a silver mallet to strike the glockenspiel held in the crook of her left arm. She is standing on a muddy field, her left boot stepping on a horned, demon skull.
Fourth Trench Crusade plastic miniature completed. The head is from @statuesque.bsky.social and this one has a ponytail - this is the least blurry image of the pictures I took of this mini. I donβt have immediate access to a resin printer, so I like that the plastic kits are available as an option.
A plastic, painted Trench Crusade miniature. This miniature has greenish hair, purple scuffed armor, dark olive cloth, brown pants, and grey boots. She is holding a rifle in her hands. She is standing on brackish, muddy ground.
The third Trench Crusade figure Iβve completed. Kitbashing is my favorite part of the hobby. The original helmets in the box are really great (Iβll use them another time), but I like seeing the faces on my war dollies. Eyes are a challenge, but once I get them painted on, I breathe a sigh of relief.
Thank you! I believe this head was the 90% sized one from your Kickstarter. The previous Trench Crusade mini I posted used a metal, pulp-style head.
A picture of a painted miniature soldier. She is in a readied pose to throw a stick grenade. Her right arm is outstretched. The grenade is in her right hand, and in her left, she is holding a rifle.
The second, head-swapped, Trench Crusade miniature that Iβve painted up. Head from @statuesque.bsky.social Paints by Citadel and @thearmypainter.bsky.social Iβm envious of painters that can do the smooth blends, but I had fun painting the stark highlights and little scratches of color on this mini.
The game would also need hilarious items to use on fellow Go-bolds.
Just based on the name alone, 100% yes.
The rest of the squad will have the different heads you made, too!
Thank you for making it! Beret Maroon is pretty snazzy, too!
@trenchcrusade.bsky.social
The original post with the miniature didnβt tag the team over at Trench Crusade.
Paints are a mix of Citadel and @thearmypainter.bsky.social paints. Hooray for historical paint Dark Olive!
A painted Trench Crusade plastic miniature in dark purple armor, wearing a dark olive uniform, brown pants, and dark grey boots. This miniature is normally assembled with a helmeted head, but it has been swapped out for a bare head. The miniature is holding a rifle in her right hand, slung over her right shoulder. In her left hand she is holding a grenade. Her left foot is stepping on a sandbag.
Iβm slowly painting up the @trenchcrusade.bsky.social plastic kit. This is the first one Iβve mostly finished. Theyβre a great size and fun to paint. I was originally going to go with a bright, clashing color scheme, but diverted into a dark, scratchy style. The head is from @statuesque.bsky.social
Iβd like if your fancy cloak goblin also had a retinue like Titusβ retinue. And one of them should be a pumpkin person, just because Iβm always going to ask for a Squashmarrow citizen.
@thearmypainter.bsky.social
@mengelminis.bsky.social Dark Olive goes in every project I paint, on par with how cranberries are in every juice.
Medieval guards? Dark Olive on the boots.
Sci-fi terrain? Monitors get a coat of Dark Olive.
Green grass? Apply some Dark Olive on the dirt it grows out of.
Iβm a fan of every word in that sentence.
This sounds like a great Pikmin Bloom collaboration.

No this isnβt a βI hate ai because itβs cool tooβ post. This is an Iβm an artist, environmentalists, and Iβll use my own brain, post. I prefer humans and real art.
three different views of four different femme adventurers - a ranger, paladin, mage and monk.
coming soon! more from our Otherworld acquisitions, just four of the expanding range of rubble adventurers...
Thank you! My cat thanks you, too! Note: My cat cannot actually talk, but I wish she could.
I missed out on Pumpkins of Squashmarrow. Any chance these pumpkin adventurers will be made into miniatures?
